I picked up me (two pair) and my son, (one pair) of Ocean Waves at the
Classic, I watched the guy do the car key thing on them , since I am bad
about scratching up sun glass lenses, I had to have them :-) I have worn
good sun glasses for years, but these Ocean Waves, really seam to allow
me to see through the water much better. Is it just me wanted to justify
the cost of these things, or are they really that good. Anyone else ever
tried them ? Has anyone here done a comparison between these and other
high dollar glasses ?

What's ya'lls favorite sun glasses for fishing ?

Rodney, I use some discontinued Orvis polarized glasses I picked up cheap on
ebay. They are pretty good sunglasses and I am relatively happy with them.
Polarization seems good on both the amber and the yellow lenses, but they
really don't cut the mustard on the really bright days. I have seen the
Ocean Waves but I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger on the cost.

What color lenses did you get?

I use Action Optics with prescription bifocal photochromic
copper lenses. The copper color is a good color for all-day
wear, they give enough protection from bright midday sun and
you can still see well into the evening low light conditions.

Well I got two, one is light blue, the other is a dark amber, the light
ones have been awesome for cloudy days, letting me see under the water,
but they are a bit light for me in bright sunny days, although they
still let you see under water fine, just things are too bright. I think
I should have gotten the dark blue for sunny days, but I have gotten
used to the ambers now, they sure make the surface of the water
disappear. I'm just used to dark blue or green sun glasses.

These sure are better than the H3O's I was wearing.

As far as cost, they cost what a good pair of prescription glasses would
cost, I think my eyes and my fishing, are worth that much :-)

They also offer them in prescription by the way.
