Default Official notice of 2007 Northwoods Classic

Well, based on personal emails and what I've heard here, let's plan on
Thursday/Friday, September 6th and 7th, 2007 for the Northwoods Classic.
So, clear your schedules, tell the boss you want that week off and plan on
being in Rhinelander Wisconsin for the 6th annual Northwoods Classic!

We will fish Boom Lake, and use the Claridge/Best Western Motor Lodge as the
lodging place for members. Pre-fishing is encouraged and we'll have our
pre-tourney meeting at The Rhinelander Pub and Cafe on Wednesday night at
7:00 p.m.. Thursday night, we'll meet at the Huber Hotel and give out door
prizes and Friday night we'll meet at the Al-Gen for the awards banquet.

I will build another rod and see about getting some nice prizes. If anyone
thinks they can find some additional prizes, please let me know.

I look forward to this year, as I do every year. It's a great time, with
lot's of fishing, lot's of laughs, talk and new memories. If you haven't
been to an NWC, consider attending this year. And if you've been here
before, we'll try to do as well as we have in the past.

So I am guessing you are going to be there? Your obsession with Steve
is what has made my decision of going or not easy. I look forward to
meeting you, maybe you can pre-fish with me one of the days???

He will be the one hanging around in the men's bathroom, writing his
phone number on the walls.

Have you set up any special rates at the motel this year? I want to
call this weekend to make reservations.

I will be doing that on Monday. Things have been somewhat hectic recently.
You're usually the first one up here, what date are you planning on arriving
in Rhinelander and are you planning on staying until Sunday morning? Or for
that matter, is anyone else planning on staying until Sunday? I'll use your
first day here Ronnie as the starting date and tell them people will be
checking out Sunday morning.

How does that sound?

And, if anyone can get their hands on door prizes, that would always be
appreciated. Please let me know if you can and what you'll be getting.

I plan on getting there on Tuesday and will leave either Sat or
Sunday. Fritz and I are planning on getting a cabin somewhere for a
week and will depend on when it starts when we leave Rhinelander.

I will try to bring along some door prizes - some small stuff
definitely and will see what else I can find.

Disclaimer: This is not an indication of my intent; it is only an
inquiry into some simple logistics. =)

If a person were to fly into Rhinelander Airport in the afternoon on
the 5th day of September, would the Huber Taxi be available to
transport the inbound passenger to the Claridge Best Western? In
addition, if said person were to depart Rhinelander on the 8th day of
September, would the aforementioned Huber Taxi service be available to
transport the traveler back to the Rhinelander airport?
