Hi, Harry. Man, did I kill 'em in Maine with your Killer Caddis
http://www.troutflies.com/Merchant2/...Gen_Cadd_Dries
It was very effective even when there was no hatch. Great fly.

go there and have a blast. you only need three flies.
grey soft hackle sow bug sz 18
grey ray charles sz 18
two tone san juan worm sz 14

also of you are going to do some driving make sure to go to the
madison, if you dont have a boat to use the walk and wade section by
reynolds pass should be awesome when you are there. also try to float
the yellowstone below livingston. also for a day of catching tons of
nice fish... try the ruby!

iNDIANjOE SUGGESTS--have enjoyed fishing several sections of Ruby probably
during three trips out that way. If you want to enjoy watching someone
catch fish take Willie along--if you want to catch fish take Willie along
and let him spot fish for you.!!!

Almost like a New Zealand guide he can stand on hillside and see fish for
you to work.
Don't know where he is hanging out these days but I miss that guy

Funny. The Madison AND the Yellowstone, Dave? With the other 500,000
tourists? I shouldn't laugh, as you fall under category 3. But
still...whoop-dee-do. We do need tourism in Montucky, as wicky points
out. As do the other tourist spots you listed in Idaho, Alaska, etc.

We do like to eat in MT, so we'll take the tourist dollar. As far as
reading about fishing though, I'll take a George Cleveland well-written
story over any "Who the hell HASN'T fished there story" anyday. Boring.

Cee Dee, or should I call you Dave S? Which is it? Ya can't play on
the internet, kid, and keep changing your web tv name. Stick with
one.

You seem to think that anyone that is NOT from Montana and fly fishes
is some sort of rube. I envy you for living in Montana. It is a
beautiful and wonderful place, but it is NOT the only place you can
find quality fly fishing. The Madison was packed with folks the days
I fished it, but the English River in Labrador was empty of humans
except me and every fish I caught had never been hooked before.. The
Yellowstone had many "tourists" fishing it, but the Zhuponava River in
Kamchatka had only five of us to spoil the place. The fish had never
seen a human and had never been hooked. The trouble with Montana is
the giant human footprint that haunts the place. Sorry to say that
the same thing is now happening to Alaska.

I know, I know, there are hundreds of streams off the beaten path that
you fish and I can't. But that is simply because I don't live there.
I can fish anywhere I choose, kid. And, Montana ain't on my list
right now. Think Russia, Labrador, Chile, Mongolia. Ya want fishin',
kid, get out of Montana and see the world.

Now Dave S, or as you *now* like to be called, Cee Dee, go back to
your tv and leave us alone.
