Cool. St. Louis Budweiser is the epitome of American excellence
in the art of brewing.

I'd watch it, but I tend to get ill watching how crap is made.

So, do you eat with your eyes closed ?

The last couple of months I have been staying in the same place with a
group of engineers/technitions from Germany. The local stroes have
lots of different yuppie trendy beers, what do they drink? Bud
light. I had some Pyramid Apricot beer, they drank one and said OK
but if you put that stuff in beer in Germany you might go to jail.
They might just be drinking it because their cheap ( or thrifty) and
can pocket the per-diem they don't spend.
I'de like to find some Heilmans Special Export, it's (was) great when
it's so hot the grasshopers are packing canteens.

Was.

I pretty much grew up on Special Export (which, I have no good reason to
believe was ever exported to any place further than maybe Chicago), as it
was my father's favorite every day beer about the time I started to drink
beer regularly. When I left home I went to places where they'd never heard
of it. I drank other beers.

Many years later I rediscovered it. Wasn't the same. Wasn't bad.....but it
had changed.

Many more years later I tried it again.

Might as well drink bud, miller, pearl, olympia, rolling rock, coors,
yuengling, pbr, sam adams......or whatever other brand of **** is available.

I don't know about the History Channel but there's a Budweiser
program airing on the National Geographic Channel right now.
It should be required viewing for every Dumbass Yuppie Beer Snob
(DYBS) on roff.

....killer...

Now 'that' is a classic...apropos ?

Any how..I never used to like avocados...and one day BOOM, I like avocados,
I'm making really good guacamole...and it's been the same with beer. I had
to stop buying Guinness...half of the time it's starting to turn. most of
the pubs I go to I can't even drink their draft, it's been too hot and cold
too many times....

But I have a buddy who delivers for a distributor...distributor?...anyhow,
Budweiser is kept cold, shipped cold...it may be horse ****, but by god that
horse **** ALWAYS tastes the same.... I do have one place I can order
Fosters and not be disappointed....
