Yep, like most folks I'm drawn in by the label on bottle of beer, wine
or single malt and today was no exception. Found a new beer god
offering in the packy of "PennBrook Amber Lager" by Bucks county
Brewing with a nice drawing of a a flyfisherman on the label exhibiting
tailing loops that look similar to mine. The beers OK but nothing
spectacular but I figure there may be few bought in the Penns Clave
timeframe.

Beer is like sex, when it's good it's great, when it's bad, eh it's
still pretty good.

Not likely, most avert their gaze when they see me casting perhaps
because it's so henious to watch or perhaps because they're afraid of a
size eight stonefly in non-replacable body parts

Once again, our poor non-native English speaking brethren are left to puzzle
out for themselves the possible meaning of this strange idiomatic usage.

I translate (somewhat athwart literarily in order to preserve the flavor of
the original): "You are SCREWED, pooch! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The phrase I remember is; fishing is like sex, there is no bad fishing.

'course the author was referring to spin fishing, so I think he gave up way
to early..
