A lot of day records were set in the last 24 hours in PA
and NY. Peter and I fished the Cattaraugus a bit more than a week ago when it was at 360cfs, about 100 more than ideal. Last night it topped out at 9,400. Heaviest rain day so far this year at State College, with 2.43 inches. Little J went from a norm of about 300 cfs to about 8,000. Penns is going down already; surprising since it usually takes longer to drop, being farther downstream. |

If the ground was already saturated I would
imagine that the water would flush through quicker. The lack of foliage might contribute as well. You're probably right! It's still going down, now only (?) 2,080 cfs, down from about 4,400. vince |
