Tips for tying in rubber legs without all the fighting as they flop around
and get in the way while the rest of the fly is finished ... I'm going to set down to tie some RL nymps soon and dread the project |

Not sure if this will work for legs, but have you tried using a drinking
stray, it works great for keeping hackles etc out of the way. Bass "Larry L" wrote in message ... This technic is not perfect but it works better than letting the legs
flop around in the way. Leave the legs long when tying them in and use a clip to gather the free ends together and hold them out of the way. I've used a hackle pliers to hold the legs and a bobbin rest to hold the hackle pliers. I guess you could also use a parachute tool as well.
