Yesterday I got bored enough to run down the the river, even though
we've had heavy rains and it was nearly certain to be high and dirty. I went to a place not far below a dam and it was just high and murky, further down it was dark brown. With no other reasonable option, I hung a BHRT beneath a bobber and hooked one trout ... that got off. A couple casts later, trying to get a float near a willow sweeper I hooked that sweeper. It fought well and eventually broke me off G So, after about 30 minutes, I'd had enough and took the scenic route back home. P.S. BHRT = bead head rodent turd .... g |
