We put out the feeders a week ago, and this morning at 7 a.m. we were
greeted by two humming birds.

We were also greeted by smoke from a distant forest fire. We smelled
it yesterday and believe it is a controlled (??) burn north-west of us.
We were up during the night because the smell awoke us, but could see
nothing in the distant sky.
