I'm looking for information on the Redington Windshear Jacket. It appears to
be a great value at 100 bucks. Anyone on the list have experience with this jacket?? I have also looked at the Simms wind stopper, and know some people that really like that jacket. I am having trouble justifying nearly 200 bucks for a pull over. TIA, Jeff T. |

I've had a Cabela's clone for just over a year and it has worked great,
stops the wind, toasty warm. I've been using it on daily bike rides and even going into the wind, fast as I can old fat guy peddle I don't feel the wind and stay warm. It always draws a " that looks nice" comment from my bride, shows no sign of wear, thus far, and you can buy three of them for $200 and have money left over. I'm sure the Simms IS better made and will last somewhat longer, etc. but I fish on a strict budget and $60 for jacket, $140 for fishing trip makes more sense to me than $200 for jacket, can't afford to go use it G |
