Default ROFF of the past

I was cleaning out some old files yesterday and ran across one nugget in a
cabinet filled with mostly items destine for the recycling bin.
It was a folder with some old ROFF posts that I had printed back in 1994/95.
Some fly recipes, cooking recipes and sal****er flyfishing info among other
misc items. It was interesting to see some of the old names/screen names
that once posted to ROFF, the majority no longer post here. It's unfortunate
they don't hang around these parts anymore, most were excellent
contributors.

It was entertaining to look back on the material.

Yeah, this place used to attract a higher class clientele. ;-)

Does anyone here keep in contact with Dave Tatosian aka daytripper ?
I'm Facebook friends with a few ex-roffians but I haven't been able
to contact 'tripper.

And where in the hell is rdean ?

Hmmm, now that you mention it, I can't remember the last time rdean was
around this nut house!?

Odd,

He died eight years ago. Or so he says. Frankly, I have my doubts.

I'm Facebook friends with a few ex-roffians

One assumes they've never met your face.

but I haven't been able
to contact 'tripper.

That may not be an accident.

Johnny Rebek
Sausage Machine I

Chorus:
Oh mister Johnny Rebek
how could you be so mean
I told you you'd be sorry for
inventing that machine
now all the neighbors cats and dogs
will nevermore be seen
they'll all be ground in sausages
in Johnny Rebek's machine

Verses:
1. One day a little boy came walking in the store
he bought a pound of sausages, and laid it on the floor
then he started whistling, he whistled up a tune,
and all the little sausages went dancing around the room

2) One day the machine broke, the darn thing wouldn't go,
so Johnny Rebek he crawled inside to see what made it so.
His wife was having a nightmare, walking in her sleep,
she gave the crank a heck of a yank and Johnny Rebek was meat.
