Perhaps because I just live the other side of the beltway from Joe my
VCR box was awaiting me in the box when I got home today. After pawing
through the bunch I have to apologize since given the wonderful
contents I'm sure I underwhelmed a lot of people with my effort. In
particular the fabric wingwinged Caddis is really eye catching.

Joe, thanks for the effort to do this, it's really a nice collection
and I'll take them to the office tommorrow for Frank R. to paw over.

Just rec'd mine in today's mail. Thanks to everyone - the flies are beautiful
and range from early season, through summer patterns, and into the fall and
winter. A truly great collection.

Many thanks, Joe, for organizing and performing the time consuming tasks to get
this done.

Way cool flies. This year was big on parachutes and streamers (and a
honking big pike fly from Chas).

Thanks for all the work, Joe.

Mine came in todays mail also. Just an *outstanding* collection. Thanks to
all that participated. I donate mine every year to my local TU chapter to
raise funds for our Youth Flyfishing Program. Gotta believe this box will
bring into 3 figures. Thanks again everyone.

time, that is for sure!

Hi All,

They arrived at my place today also!!! Very nice everyone!! Maybe someday my
tying with get as good as most of the flies that are in this collection!!

Now I am wondering what to do with that big one! Maybe try it out for Bass .
.. . . No wait, I may stick in my box for White Bass season, wait for the
oportune time and maybe if I am luck try to hook a Striper with it!!

Sitting on my desk this a.m. was a video case full of some wonderful flies.
Since I don't have them in front of me (and beer number 4 whilst sitting on
the deck in 75 degree weather is fully gone), I can't comment on any
individual flies. One thing that stuck in my mind was the fact that these
flies, from Wales to Australia, were all pretty much designed to catch the
same fish, rainbow and brown trout (with a pike or two thrown in). Some
have mentioned in the past that I don't tie little flies. My lord, there
were flies in there that would have eaten the Rotten Banana fly as a light
snack. Great job all. There's not a fly amoung them that I'd not be proud
to use on the local waters. Hell, just to show them off to other locals
would be great. I gotta get back into these swaps. Again, great job.

Got mine. Great flies. A taxidermist friend gave me some Black Bear hide the
day before they arrived. Did not know what to do with it. Now the Cheasapeake
Rock are due to see some Black Beard Streamers.
