Default First runs of trout?

Just wondering, for a beginner fly fisherman....When does the first run of
trout usually occur for the spring??? And also, what will they bite on early
in the spring. Will they even bite that much in the first runs?? lemme know
all u can, and thanks alot whoever can help.

Are you talking about Steelhead when you're referring to runs? I'm not
sure what you mean. What they feed on and when they get active depends
on where you're fishing. How active they are depends on water temps. The
Rainbows in CO, usually start getting active sometime in April. At first
they feed on midges, then on BWO's. When the flows increase, larger
stuff works.
