Wolfgang
¹Berl was actually speaking of the French in the aftermath of the
armistice of 1940.....but the message is universal, ainna?

Sadly, not only universal but likely eternal as well.

Down into the 20's last night with 30 kt winds. WTF is up with this **** in
April? I'm south of the M-D Line fer chrissake. Somebody tell them damned
Canucks to stop sending this stuff down here; I wanna go fishing. g

Joe F.

Been quite warm of late in southern Alberta, by our standards. We have
highs of 15 - 20 C the past couple of weeks, (thats about 58 - 69 F). I
guess we have been sending the cold air south, becuase it has been nice
and warm here.

Ya know Stan, I agree with this. I've been part of the kind of **** I
don't like on this newsgroup.

But lately, I wonder what it is the "rational folks" want to talk about.
Take out the politics, name calling, and infighting and there's some
slim picking on ROFF over the last couple of months. Stuff always
degenerates during the Winter, but Winter is over.

Hell if I know. In winter my thoughts go to looking up and trying new fly
patterns and such - not much to talk about. It snowed here yesterday...
Just enough to make everything feel cold and damp again. I'm dying to get
my canoe on the ponds. Hey Timmay! Let's pick an afternoon this week.

Uhhhh, okay, but I've yet to buy some paddles and life jackets. Wanna share?
Better yet, wanna share and test my canoe for two human capacity?

Aw, **** - I've still gotta get a fishing license, too. Thanks goodness for
online purchasing.
