A gentleman known as Bruce,
when wading, was wont to turn puce,
apart from his dimples,
and, (from midges), large pimples,
many thought such a thing quite abstruse.

If you do not want some things to wilt,
you should perhaps at least wear a kilt,
this may be redeeming,
and stop ladies screaming,
when they find out how you are built.

So whether you wade wet or dry,
it might be a good thing to try,
some reputable traders,
for breathable waders,
when attempting to fish with the fly.

Scotsmen are often quite bold,
and not so averse to the cold,
some even say,
they fish nude in the Tay,
even stranger things have been told.

Wading nude may indeed be quite brave
but your face is unlikely to save,
you may take some knocks,
when fishing on rocks,
if you slip and fall down in a wave.

Although some people may laugh,
when nude wading at least use a staff,
enjoy your angling,
and even your dangling!
just ignore the grinning riff-raff.

Some people will tell you tall tales,
with anglers this stuff never fails,
fishing naked with flies,
whether wets nymphs or dries,
is likely to cause lots of wails.

Just imagine if you get a ducking,
when a cast of barbed flies you are chucking,
your pleasure may wane,
and you may have some pain,
you have to watch out what you´re hooking.

It is nice to get lots of advice,
but wading nude is not very nice,
naked anglers are few,
they quickly turn blue,
and some bits will freeze off in a trice.

So beware then, it may come to pass,
unless most of your tackle is brass,
that some may fall off,
when you sneeze or you cough,
and its worse when you fall on your ass!

So at last we must come to a close,
when fishing at least wear some clothes,
this is not at all dumb,
and you will not feel numb,
think of Bruce, who while fishing, just froze!

Personally I like MC's idea... People allow for allot of space when you walk
down to the river
naked..

I don't REALLY have a tiger print thong, that was just for your benefit...

i remember seeing that one back in 1989, i think it was, as it circulated
among the women at my workplace. the t-shirt actually brought that one
back to mind, as i had long forgotten it. probably a good thing....

This is a very nice shirt. I own one. Obviously the water in the graphic
is at the upper end of ideal for trout.
