Default Poll on Fishery Management

My biggest complaint that could be addressed specifically by the PA
Fish & Boat Commission is the 'visible license' clause. I hate that
damned license holder--it's always in the way, whether pinned to hat
or vest, front, back or side. I'd just as well keep it in my wallet
and be required to produce it on demand. Sounds small, but it's one
of those 'quality of life' issues to me.

Interesting. We have no such requirement here in Wisconsin. Naturally,
since I've fished in Pennsylvania the last three years running, I have one
of those license holders.....actually, it's a minor miracle that I've
managed to hold on to it for two years, but that's another sort of
confession altogether. For a reason I can't remember now, I took it off my
vest and pinned it to my hat. THAT was a nuisance, but as long as it was on
the vest I didn't find it to be any trouble at all. In fact, I'm going to
pin it back on the vest and carry my Wisconsin license that way. Beats the
hell out of trying to remember where I put my the damned thing, I think.

The rest of your rant, highly state specific, is fascinating but I fear that
once we start down that road we'll be a LONG time arriving anywhere, so I'll
leave it alone except to note in passing that each state seems to do just
about EVERYTHING differently than every other and each one is more byzantine
and inexplicable than the last.

Nothing brilliant in mine. How about you and old "bassrecord" put
your heads together and tell us all what was brilliant about yours?

At the very least, it had something to do with what the original
poster asked. I'm under the impression that's what
BB/newsgroups/forums are around for. Apparently you think they're for
trashing people and making the "brilliant" OT one-liners. Quite an
achievement, mozart. I hope you're proud of yourself.

That's brilliance? Well, there is something to be said for low
expectations after all.

Your impressions are your own burden. No one here is likely to help
you carry such a load.

Apparently you think they're for
trashing people and making the "brilliant" OT one-liners.

As I believe has been noted here, things are not necessarily what they
appear to be. That said, it can hardly be denied that news groups and
similar fora WILL certainly work as vehicles for that sort of thing.

Quite an
achievement, mozart.

There! See what I mean? As brilliant a one line trashing as I
believe anyone here could hope for....considering the source....and
right here in good old ROFF!

I hope you're proud of yourself.

No, actually, you hope I die a slow, horrible and painful
death......and soon! I, on the other hand, hope to disappoint you
once again.
