a few more logs

www.kimshew.com/flyfish/logs.php

Don't want to sound like Chicken Little ( he's the sky falling dude,
right? ) but don't plan time on the Ranch at Henry's Fork, from what I
can tell so far :-(( see log)

Starting to hear excited whispers about ..shh ... SALMON FLIES ..
and where they are on both the Gallatin and Madison ... still pretty
far from here, but getting going, I guess ... I've never followed
them, but I'm sure some of you yearn to

Word for the wise, if you stay in West Jellystone area and fish the
lower Madison ... the road via Henry's Lake and then RT 20 is far
safer, especially at night than the way via Hebgen ... the latter has
lots of wandering moose and deer and passes several bars and their
wandering assholes ... plus if the caddis are out and they will be at
Clave time, your windshield is solid bugs in a few miles

rw, I'm sure you probably know this, but I've seen the rangers
checking horse FEED going into the park ... only weed free is allowed
and they seem serious about enforcing it

I heard that Box Canyon was fishing great.

Thanks for the reports Larry. I leave for Yellowstone tomorrow but
will probably be sightseeing for the first week or so. How easy is it
to get Internet access out there, are you finding wireless hotspots or
just dialing up?

Great question, I was wondering the same thing. Is there the ubiquitous
Starbucks hotspot even in West Yellowstone, Montana? Who else might be sick
enough to bring a digital device fishing?
