I would like to dye some deer hair sunburst yellow.
I tried mixing Fl.Yellow with Fl.Pink but the pink was too dominant ?
Does anyone have any experience concocting this sort of colour and what
colours might work ?

Thanks

Top posting here to stay with Derek a bit.
Uhh . . . me thinks we would still like to see the color.
Give us a reference color, by URL, if anything, or post what you have there,
and are trying to copy.
Still, and most often confused, on many things in life. Getting colors or
dyes is one of many.

Hi Derek, I wandered around the website and found the color, but frankly, it
seems I would be trying Veniard Yellow, or Rit yellow, based on the color I
saw. Veniard would give a brighter color. If you want to mix dyes a bit,
(you already know how the pink can dominate the yellow) I can only suggest
going with a very . . .very . . .very . . .small amount of any color added
to the yellow. ( uhh . . .did I mention very . . .very . . .very . . .small
amount?)
Sorry I can't help more. (I have about 23 different colors of Veniard and a
herd of Rit, and some of Dylon, and a few of Fly Dye . . . and while I can
get consistent, I still get "interesting" results sometimes

Good Luck,
DaveMohnsen
