But if you do go to NC, take them a crate or two of upper case
letters. They have been suffering a long term shortage of them,
and you appear to have a surfeit.

Kevin

why do you hate the old north state?

, of course.

I'll do it for $200 per hour, air fare from CMI, hotel room and
incidental expenses. I'm available as soon as I see your cashier's
check for 10 hours of lessons in advance.

However, if you shout as much in person as you do on Usenet I'll
have to charge you an additional $50 per hour.

Hey RIchard, I have seen Ken cast, and he sucks. I wouldnt let him
teach me for free.

I think that Chino is somewhere east of Orange Co.?
Your best shot is to find a fly shop in your area. Most give, or can arrage
lessons. I don't know how close Bob Marriotts would be, but they should be
able to arrange lessons, and could probably advise you of some place closer.

Marriotts web site is http://www.bobmarriotts.com. You should be able to
find a phone number there. This is one of the biggest fly shops in the
west. their motto is if they don't have it, you don't need it

Many shops give group lessons, which are cheaper, but it will take you
longer to learn.

finding someone in southern CA to give you lessons on this site is a real
long shot

A site that a lot of Californias visit, (and many others) is
www.danblanton.com. You might get some help there. Also try
http://www.fishsniffer.com/ and http://www.anglernet.net/. At least the
latter is in CA. check their bulletin boards too

Good luck

Hey Richard,
Stop screaming, as it make all Chinoan look like idiots. By the way,
most people have never heard of the "inland empire," just say "east of L.A."
By the way, how are the CHS Cowboys doing? I grew up there.
Go to Bob Marriotts http://www.bobmarriotts.com/ and they'll hook you up.
They're on Orangethorpe in Fullerton.

You could try taking a walk into www.bobmarriotts.com. Located in
Fullerton, it is supposedly the largest fly fishing store in the world.
My local shop is Malibu Fish-n-Tackle in Thousand Oaks. You can call them
at 805-496-7332. They'll probably refer you to suitable instructors.
