My father, Frank Church, first mentioned a "full reid" in a trip report
on 23 June, 2001 in a post called "Short trip report." So, though named
after moi, I wasn't the first and won't be the last.

rw As I waded into the current I slipped a bit and reflexively put
rw the net (in my downstream hand) into the current. It was
rw amazing. The drag on the net stabilized my stance. It was like
rw holding on to a tree limb.

Good idea. I'll give it a try in the Lapland clave.
