Default Killer day on the Andy...

i'm bringing my bay boat to the oct. anti-clave. there may be some
smallmouth activity in the lakes at that time, but if you're up for a
boat ride, we can see what turns up.

When I read a trip report like Daytripper's, I am tempted to drive half way
across the country. there is some good smallmouth in The Glover River in
southeast Oklahoma and it is only about four hours from here. We had a cool
spennand the temp in Dallas was down into the 60's and the high soulld be only
in the 80's today, so I am very tempted. I will have to tie some smallmouth
sized bugs tonight, perhaps a few Los Alamos Ants?

I thought Tripper said the area was ugly?

Looks like a nice area to me.

You should switch off that "5 shot burst" mode ;-)

No, you didn't. And what I actually wrote:
"The Andy ain't the most photogenic of rivers on a good day, and Saturday it
was chocolate brown from the runoff most of the float."
would be a lot of words wasted to simply say "The Andy is ugly", eh?

Looks like a nice area to me.

Well, hell, it has freakin' bald eagles *breeding successfully*! not to
mention loads of big fishies, so clearly there's *something* going for it ;-)

But those pictures weren't from the morning after a deluge, either...

That line sounds like Wolfgang. I thought he was the only one on ROFF
that thinks he can read other peoples' thoughts!

And what I actually wrote:

Let's try a substitution...

"Becky" ain't the most photogenic woman on a good day,

That's the way I read it.
