My local Walmart has a Humminbird Tri Beam 400 TX (display only) for $50 and
a 300TX (display only) for $25. These are in the display case. Apparently, whoever put them in the display case threw the boxes away with the transducers inside. The 400 retails for about $250 and the 300 for about $175. My question: what would I need to buy to make one of these work and how much would that be? I know they are phasing these out, but if the transducer isn't that much, it would be worth it. I want to put one on my little Pond Prowler (I know, a little overkill, but for the price, what the heck). Can I simply buy a trolling motor mounted transducer for one of these for a few bucks and be set to go, or was there more in the box than the transducer? I have never owned a fish finder so I don't know what else comes with it. Thanks for your help. Keith |

My few questions to Crumminbird about support of discontinued products were
met with apathy at best. I'ld visit their website and see what information is available about the units in question. Then visit the Basspro site and the Cabelas site to see if the items you need are available. -- Bob La Londe www.YumaBassMan.com All about fishing in Yuma, Arizona Promote Your Fishing Website FOR FREE "luv2bafield" wrote in message ink.net... Just explain your situation to the folks at Hummingbird and I'm sure they
can fix you up. They did so for me not too long ago! "luv2bafield" wrote in message link.net... "Bob La Londe" wrote in message ... I found out that BSP has the full set up on clearance for $150, so even at $50 for the display, by the time I bought the rest of the stuff, I'd almost be there--about $130. So, I bought an Eagle Fishmark 320 ![]() K |

I'm not familiar with these units, but typically sonar units come packaged with transducer and power cable. Options would include speed/temp sensors and GPS antennas. |
