Can anybody tell me why my fishmark 320 screen scrolls along at the same
rate no matter how fast or slow I am going, and even when I am anchored? I was anchored in my 36' pond prowler (that's sq. ft) and the screen is just scrolling along at the same pace as when I was trolling. The fish are showing up moving along also, all in the same relationship to each other. I don't think they are all drifting with the current, but I suppose that's possible. And, no, I don't have it on simulator. ![]() Thanks. Keith |

It scrolls along while still because if it didn't then it would not show
anything. Think of it as a flasher with a display, anything you see a half inch to the left has past but you can see what WAS there. While you are trolling along or running WOT, the unit cna go only so fast as it processes the info. Some units have a variable scroll speed setting. "luv2bafield" wrote in message nk.net... It hurts, but take a half a day and play with ALL the features. One of the things that you'll probably find is a screen rate. You'll want to set that probably much faster than it currently is. One of the things that I would definitely recommend is to get Dan Warme's video on Locators. You can either get it from Dan or at the following link. http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com/open...cPath=27&produ cts_id=37 -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service http://www.herefishyfishy.com |

whether you are moving or not is of no consequence to the machine. The
scroll shows time, not distance. RichZ© www.richz.com/fishing |
