BTW, his buddy Ralph did a nice job of shooting him in the back.

Be nice to Ralph. He is the fisherman's friend after all. His government
is responsible for the widespead adoption of catch and relewase
angling on our east slope cutthroat streams, and we now have province
wide barbless hooks regulations cause Raplh went fishing at a lodge that
required barbless hooks.

Did he come up with his health care policy via the same method?

No, I think that started when he was still drinking.

"relewase angling"...wasn't this the method pioneered by Haile
Selassie/Ras Tafari...using foating lines, and with tolling motors on
whate water boats, IIRC...

When he *was* drinking? When was he *not* drinking?

BTW, sorry I didn't get a chance to get together with you on my
trip. Unfortunately, I basically went fishing on very short notice in
between sightseeing and visits with SWMBO's family and friends. Still,
it was great to get a taste of the Crow. I can see how you'd want to
spend as much time there as possible.

And now that SWMBO is a grandmom (grandmom?!!) with a grandkid in
Lethbridge, hopefully we'll be heading up there on a regular basis.

Ralph took the pledge a few years ago after an incident one New Year's
eve where he verbally attacked some people at a local shelter. He was
under the influence at the time, and as a result, apologized publically
and gave up drinking.

I understand, it would have been fun to get together, but timelines are
always short. Next time.
