Well, I dunno about reasonable or normal disposition, but as far as I'm
concerned anyone that's as quick a study on the ol' peace pipe can call
himself Injun anytime!

He can call himself whatever the hell he wants but unless
Indians have taken to wearing hoods and sheets the so-called
"Indian Joe" ain't no Indian.

Perhaps he was just trying to pass at the time?

/daytripper (And there is that part about reasonable or normal disposition ;-)

Reasonable and normal doesn't include apologia for racists.
You were there and know that he doesn't limit his racial
slurs to Native American women.

I'm not apologizing for anyone - god knows if I was to apologize for everyone
that uses racial slurs it'd be more than a full time job.

But, in truth, I don't remember hearing IJ speak disparagingly about anyone,
"impolite" vernacular notwithstanding...

Ah, Kennie on the half-shell! The mark of the desultory and/or deficient
reader is an unshakeable conviction that the first.....and therefore almost
certainly the ONLY.....opinion he or she has encountered (and necessarily
and always misunderstood, misconstrued, misinterpreted, and/or just plain
missed) about an issue, opinion, thing, or situation is always necessarily
and absolutely true and unequivocal.

Which explains rather nicely why the dolt STILL doesn't understand the
distinction between an elite and an elitist.

Wolfgang
or between himself and a "real" boy, for that matter.
