I've only recently and briefly arrived home from S.A.H. and am anxious to
return. Mother and son are doing great and dad is just as thankful for that
as could be.

Take care,
Tim (Luke's Dad)

Congrats. Get him a fly rod yet?

He was 7 lbs, 9 oz, 19.5" long. He has been a total champ; the first couple
nights home have been surprisingly smooth and he's just been an incredibly
beautiful addition to the family.

I'm thinking about sending him off to University though so he can refine his
tastes a bit in time for Christmas. Maybe have Mike M. run a nymph class,
Tom L. run a wet fly class, Peter C. conduct the streamer lectures, Frank R.
teach the gear class, etc. Once he's developed his natural inclinations a
bit, Santa will know what needs to appear under the tree...But I'm guessing
the steelhead rod won't come until he's three or so. Gotta give him some
time to grow, doncha know.

God's little gift to parents of newborn infants -- for the first few
weeks they pretty much do nothing but sleep, waking up every few
hours for food. It let's the mother regain her strength for...
well, you'll find out soon enough.

Congrats, Tim.
