Blow me, you stupid, lying, sanctimonious little prick.

POTD (MWA)

Picture of the day? Not likely, and I have no clue what MWA stands for.

I'm picking up the "stupid, lying, sanctimonious little prick" in
Lewiston on Wednesday, Oct. 6 in Lewiston, ID, and we're meeting up with
Warren, Chas, and (I hope) John Hightower for steelhead on the
Clearwater. I cannot imagine a more amiable crew of fishing companions.
Let's hope the fish cooperate.

If anyone else on ROFF is interested, we'll be at the Myrtle campground,
between Lewiston and Orifino, through the weekend.

Indian Joe worriedly --Ken I'm worried about you. Anyone who dislikes
themselves so much that he sends messages like that to get attention really
needs some medical help.
The last time I saw you I thought we had a fun day fishing and hiking
together on Slickrock Creek. I must have left a bad taste in your mouth.

The lying little prick insists on repeating the same lie over and
over again. I will not let it slide. I never said there were no
hatches in the Rockies in September. I did try to warn them off
the Henry's Fork during the third week of September by telling
them that the kick ass dry fly fishing, the reason the Henry's
Fork is a "destination," could very well be over for the season
by then.

The only reason pricks like Willi and Dan Finn and F.Y. Choc
keep repeating their lies is they're chagrined and embarrassed
to admit that I was right.

As for our hike to Slickrock, you plopped your sorry ass down
on a rock, opened a can of sardines and told me to go fish by
myself. You didn't even make it to the first ****ing waterfall !
Bad form that, not to mention the pasta in the trout stream and
the irate neighbor with the torn up lawn. You're a real jewel
you are, you racist piece of ****.

(I've got some pictures of these pods of fish feeding on the Tricos. I
also have a few of my trip with Rusty as well as some of the pocket
water I was fishing at the end of August. I'll post em when I get the
chance).

Thanks for the post, Willi. It was a fun read and very helpful for
someone like me who is still a newbie at chasing trout.

I'll look forward to the pictures.

My home river has finally come down and over the last few weeks, for
the first time since prerunoff, the fish have been avidly coming up for
dries. I've been fishing pocket water on my home river with good
success and had a great day on a feeder creek that CharlieW. told me
about. About a week and a half ago, the Trico hatch started on the
lower river and the fall has been OUTSTANDING for the last week.

(disgusting report snipped)

Hi Willi,
Thanks for the report. Sounds like something that resembles fun. Even
though I am around a lake about every day in the early mornings, I haven't
fished since a trip to SW Colorado in the mid part of July. (I'm obviously
doing something wrong . . . grin)
