Default newb in WA

Hello ROFF, I was recently fishing on the Yakima river in WA state for the
first time. Everyone I spoke to in Cle-Ellum told me the whole river was
catch and release, but the reg's PDF lists parts w/ a limit for trout (min
12"). Does anyone know if the regs have changed? I love the idea of
protecting fisheries and all but I've got this new smoker and...

Not the whole river ...I know most the canyon is, but below roza dam,
you can keep two (12 - 20") down to the parker dam.
