I just ordered a pair of Cabelas Dry Plus Premium waders for $140. I'm
wondering if I should have gotten the Simms Freestone waders for $150? My only concern is durability. Will the Simms Freestones last longer than the Cabelas? |

Not all flyshops are in love with Simms products. The great thing about Cabelas is the customer service. You have problems with those waders and you will get a replacement pair ASAP. With Simms, you may wait weeks. Plus, Simms will slop some goop on the surface and call it done. Do you really want to wait weeks, while the BWOs are hatching? |

The freestones are good for light fishing. I bought a pair for my father
who promptly caught a not-so-sharp edge of a gaurd-rail and ripped 'em pretty good. I patched them for Dad and they've been fine ever since. Bouncer's comment about waiting for returns from Simms is very accurate. Their turn around is not too quick, by any means. "CR" wrote in message om...
