I think a few of them could be lightened up a bit though. Nice job. Thanks. You may be right about the lightening, but they look about as bright on my monitor as I remember it being when I took them. I just got a new flat screen that has sRGB mode and am still going back and playing with some of the pictures I have taken. Charlie, Hope you're not offended by my comments. Here's what I did with 2 of your shots: 1. http://www.njflyfishing.com/DSC_112720small1.jpg 2. http://www.njflyfishing.com/DSC_1197.jpg I'm not offended at all. It may be a 'monitor' thing, though, since both of yours look a little too light on mine. I did use Photoshop on mine to match what I recall of the lighting at the time I took them. In the 1st one the lighting really was kind of gray, http://66.156.89.242/Web-DSC_1125.jpg is of the same area when the sun peeked through. Thanks for taking the time to adjust the pictures. I appreciate your comments and critiques, they can only help me take better pictures. Charlie, http://66.156.89.242/Web-DSC_1125.jpg That is beautiful! Yeah, I think you're right about the monitor thing. I have a few different monitors over here and the photo's look somewhat different on each of them. I must admit though, your web-DSC 1125 is gorgeous!!!! Keep up the great work! -=Paraleptropy=- http://www.neflyfishing.net 0 Limit,Catch -n- Release |

I did go back yesterday and adjust some of the others starting from the camera raw files, and I think http://66.156.89.242/Web-DSC_1197.jpg ends up being a little lighter. I just got a new monitor for my main machine a week or so ago (ViewSonic VX910) and it's a lot sharper than my old MultiSync, so I've been going back and re-doing some of the shots to see what difference it makes. -- Charlie... http://66.156.89.242 - photos http://66.156.89.242/roff |
