Default Will it affect the bass intelligence?

lol. . . No bleeding liberal here... I just use bleeding shad crankbaits.
I'm very middle of the road. example: Welfare. Ok, long enough to obtain
technical training so they can get a real job. Quit school, immediately
stop the assistance. Once working, pay back the system at 0% interest.
That my friend is fair!

Whoa, folks! While it is true I am a loyal, logical, straight thinking moderate American (a Republican), I had no intent of starting a thread of political jabs here, and I'll try to make this my last for a while. My intent was to poke fun at California (and the left coast) before it finally quakes and shivers itself into the Pacific. I thought their lawmakers attempts to give the vote to 14 year olds out there would evoke some February fun here, but no takers. Evidently, everyone sees things there as being so totally screwed-up that nobody is even mildly surprised at anything out there anymore.

I learned here and elsewhere that political arguments are a total waste of time that just make everybody mad. Either people have enough brains to seek and interpret the truth on their own, or they mindlessly absorb and believe the crap they are fed every day on MTV and their intellectual clones such as CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, the Cartoon Network, and so on.

I should never have started this thread. I will someday swear off political baiting. I will, I will, BUT... even long after I finally do it, the left coasters will still remain totally weird!

A happy, grateful Midwesterner,

Bob Rickard

It is no secret that things on the left coast have been getting wackier by the day, but now I see that the IQ's of some inhabitants is slipping even faster. Yahoo is reporting that four Non-Republican lawmakers (soo-prise!) are trying to get the vote to 14 year olds! Is the reason in the water? If I hear of those huge bass getting that stupid, I'm on my way.

Please disregard my response to your post...it was a weak moment on my
part! Sorry!

Was weak moment yes. Unfortunately true. But I also think the other
candidate that sued in Florida is even dumber. SAD!

Actually it was sort of funny. My local paper www.trivalleyherald.com had
an front page article and asked some 14's if they would vote. They sounded
smarter than some that vote now. One said "No, I do not pay attention to
politics at my age" There are seniors that vote and they do not pay
attention either.

If any of you want to see how political crap affects a news group go to rec.boats. I do not want it to happen to this group. If you need to spout off take it someplace else.

As long as it is civil and reasonably intelligent, no problem. It only gets out
of h and if the posters allow it to. Don' t think that is gonna happen here.

It only started with two people over there and the rest of the group thought
they could control it to.
