Partridge Hackle

Go to flyfisherman.com, then their bulletin boards, and select the bulletin
board on fly tying. There is a similar d iscussion there with a demo on
tying in softhackle.

Am I using the wrong stuff? Is it purely operator error?

Any suggestions would be great.
