Default OK, I Wanna Do This Myself

I've got a pile of quality rods, each of which needs either a new guide or
two, or a tiptop. I know I have generous offers from a few of you to repair
these for me, and I really appreciate that!

But I want to learn to do these minor repairs myself. No fancy wraps or
anything like that, no fancy anything.

I need the best source for quality guides, thread, etc at good prices. I
need to know the best types to use, etc. What kind of equiptment will I
need to do this on my workbench?

A guide/tiptop repair primer would do me a bunch of good, many thanks!

Warren
