Picked up a copy of Larry Coburns book on Maryland C&R Trout streams this
weekend...A lot of good information and some patterns that i'll definately be tying and using on the local waters here...Wen't to the Orvis store in Frederick on Saturday while running around and picked up some tying supplies. Is it me or are they more expensive than most places? I was pricing the flies and all seemed to be $1.95 or more...They didn't have the (specific) one that I was looking for so I just got some dubbing, led wire, thread and the book. Picked the shop guys brain for a minute. Nice guy, rattled it off with no problem. Nice shop too...very clean. |
