![]() "rw" wrote Julian timed the fight. It took 45 minutes to get the fish into the boat. He didn't have a scale, but we figured it was about 80 lbs. In case you missed the photo, here's the link again. :-) Cool I've honestly never understood the appeal of "the fight" in fishing when reading such stories. Some of Zane Gray's epic struggles sounded incredibly boring, to me. But, then, I've never caught any really big fish, a few Stripers around 15 pounds being my best. But with those the fight seemed anti-climatic and after the first short bit I just wanted to get back to fishing and hopefully another "take."
