Watch the naturals -- they're twitching like crazy. good point rw... this is one of the few times outside of hoppers that a delicate presentation is not required in fact a resounding "plop" is preferred and the adults do skitter all over the surface. If they are on, you will see some huge fish and I mean 6 to 9+ pound browns. In the Madison current this is equal to a chrome Steelhead in the 10# plus range in less "heavy" water... 4x will seem thread like :-) |
