Coincidence -- for father's day, I took my 65-year old dad on a little
hike down to a NJ fly fishing stream. The hike was maybe a bit farther
than I'd remembered, and maybe it required a bit more rock scrambling,
and sure he'd been having problems with his back, but he seemed to get
through it ok. Until Monday rolled around, and he couldn't walk. He
spent two weeks in a wheelchair with 3 bulging disks. He's just had
the third round of epidural injections. And if that doesn't work,
surgery.

Um... happy father's day, dad? Sorry about that...
