Default Thanks: ordered three "good books"

Many thanks to everyone who suggested a good book for my backpacking/
flyfishing trip in October. I developed a long list and began winnowing it
down, first with a sense of what I like based on descriptions, reviews and
excerpts, and then by removing several fascinating titles that seem to be
unavailable (at least through Amazon). A few others are in hardback only
and several require weeks to ship. The final criterion was weight, which I
inferred from the listed shipping weight. At last I ordered "The River
Why," "Crosscurrents" and "Canoeing With the Cree." If I'm disciplined I'll
take one this fall and keep the others for future hikes; otherwise, I'll
have them all read in short order. Thanks again! -Buddy
