Hi Everyone, just joined this group.
A buddy of mine and I travel down to Key West about once a year to do some fishing. We rent a boat down there and have a pretty good time. This year, we want to stop further up the Keys for a couple of days and hire a backcountry guide to see what that is like. We've fishing the shallows of South Texas for years, but neither of us is brave or stupid enough to try and navigate the Keys Backcountry in a rental boat. Any suggestions? We're looking for a guide, but to start with, we're not sure what area to stay in. Marathon, Islamorada, Largo? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. It's hard to get through all the tourist websites to get any real information off the net. Thanks. Dunc |
