I was down at a lake doing some scouting this evening and saw some easy bass
pickings. Darn if i did not see some real nice bass at the butted against a shore lined with bushes. First i thought they were small carp but crippee they were really nice bass. The f***k*** season doesn't open for a couple of weeks here..eh. These bass i could sight fish and they will still be there in two weeks. Why do you think i say that well cause i saw them last year and that is their haunt. I think i would use a 5.5 ft lightning rod on the shore and dangle a worm as a feast for their eyes that will result in a lunge and a good tie in for me. I'm going to pick off those f****k***s early in the season. This is just a planning session right now for me. BTW Basspro is coming up here eh by Nov 14. I've never been to a Basspro and I may not be in a hurry to go since it is more than a wee bit of distance to it. .. |
