It's yet another soggy day in NorCal and looking for something to keep busy
with I wrote a script in PHP to search my website's database and parse out a XML RSS feed IF, you have an RSS reader and are willing to help ...please ... try http://www.kimshew.com/flyfish/rss.xml and see if it works. Report back here, if you will. It validates ok on one of the sites for that, and looks ok in MY rss reader, but experience has taught me to expect unpleasant surprizes from my limited geeking skills. If I can figure out the sql needed to join several tables, I'll modify the feed to include the most current updates from all sections, not just the fishing logs .... but sql makes my head hurt :-( fwiw, I make no claims the site has content of interest, I'm just enjoying a slight mental challenge to pass some time thanks Larry |
