Hi Guys,
It would appear that the very helpful people at Brenig are sending me their weekly? reports as I am on their mailing list. As long as they do this I will copy them to this NG. Maybe we Brenig visitors will learn a bit from them! :-) Cheers, Alec LLYN BRENIG FISHING REPORT WEEK ENDING 26TH MARCH Anglers have had to put up with more winter conditions at Brenig this week as cold easterly winds have continued, resulting in a very quiet week. Best flies have been Orange Blobs, Black and Sunburst boobies and Goldheads fished on DI5 to 7 sinking lines. With a stocking of 5000 fish so far and very few anglers due to the cold weather there is a really good head of fish in the reservoir. Hotspots for the week have been Nantglyn bank, Tower Bay, Hafod Lom woods, Watersports bay and the visitor centre bank. Best fish was a seven pound rainbow taken by Wilf Capper from Crewe. Saturday saw temperatures rise slightly as the wind finally changed direction from an easterly to a southerly although the wind was still strong and most of the boats fished in the sheltered bays along the west shore.
