Default The 'Gills Are Alive...

...with the sound of... um...well, what do you call that slurp noise they
make as they suck down your fly? Hell I dunno, but it was a great afternoon.
Things happened, and I couldn't escape to Wisconsin for some troutin', so I
hit the local forest preserve lake for some panfish. Glad I made it there,
too. A hell of a lot of fun.

As I'm sure most ROFFians know, spring sunnies on the fly is one of life's
great pleasures. Today was no exception... a million (plus or minus a
hundred thousand or so) sunnies, a few small, stocked, and colorless
"rainbows", and even a couple small crappies came to the small caddis I was
tossing.

A helluva way to spend a spring afternoon.

Dan
....75, sunny, mild breeze, a few clouds.....
