Default Need Input, Writing a paper about Fly Fishing

Hi, I am attenyding Utah State University and am writing a paper on Fly
Fishing. If you would please respond answers to the following
questions.
Why did you choose Fly Fishing as a hobby?

I didn't, really. I chose spin casting for trout, which I mistakenly
thought were all hatchery fish in my area. Then of my rod went
kablooey on me and I went to the nearest hardware store and ran across
a fly line. I used the fly line on an old bait rod, without a reel,
and had a lot of fun.

What is the best equipment for entry level to experience fly
fishing?

Anything. The cheapest Cabela's setup will do for a starter.

What is the very best experience you have had fly fishing? Where was
it?

Standing in cold water up to my knees on a beautiful 90 F day in
southeastern MN. Didn't catch a thing. But the evening flight of the
turkey buzzards was great to watch from there.

What is the very worst experince you have had fly fishing? Why?

Weather so hot and humid that even with my legs in cold water I could
hardly breathe. Didn't catch anything that day, either.

Have you ever fished the Logan River?

No.

What was your experience like?
I sure appreciate your input on this topic, as I am just barely
learning to fly fish myself.
Thanks.

Often taunted by trout. Almost entirely harmless.
Really.
