![]() Ken Fortenberry wrote: Anybody ever deal with eflytyer.com / Mike Hogue / Badger Creek Fly Tying of Freeville, NY ? The guy sounds like a thorough fruitcake whackjob but he sells 4" X 8" hunks of real Amadou for $18 and I'm down to my last piece of Amadou. I don't mind doing business with fruitcake whackjobs so long as they don't rip me off. -- Ken Fortenberry I don't know why you got the opinion that Mike is a "thorough fruitcake whackjob", but I have known Mike and been a happy customer of his for about a decade and a half now. He knows his stuff and will bust his butt to make sure you are a happy customer. I first got to know Mike when he had a few tables at The FFF Southern Conclave and I always liked the way his parents enjoyed working the fishing shows with him. Big Dale |
