Default Does anyone use Berkley Vanish flouro?

Did I say a freakin thing about your experience? Nope. I told mine and what
was the cause of some of my problems. Take it or leave it.

quote: If that were the case don't you think we would have problems with all
our
line?

I aint Al, so don't answer me like I was.
Nope. Never had a problem when mine were left on the deck all day, but they
were used and wet. Direct sun thru a window for days and sometimes a week
did though. That is what I said. Did it do it to just the Vanish line? Nope.
Did it to the Stren and Berkley Trilene too. I can duplicate that as many
times as you'd like. If they are kept out of sunlight when stored, I never
have a problem. Never tried this, but some friends keep their rods in the
trunks of their cars( yes in Texas we do drive cars also). In the summer
time it gets mighty hot in there and seems that heat is detrimental to the
line also. I know none of you have a hard time believing that. Ultra violet
rays are bad for many things, plastic, PVC, momo, flouro, etc. Surely you
don't have a problem with that. Sorry that y'all don't like Vanish. If I
have a problem with lines I dump em too. Later.

Maybe it IS the case here Bob. All the dissing the Vanish line and all.

I
have no stock in Berkley and receive exactly nada from them. What's with
the
freakin attitude????? Do you not think that sunlight is harmful to it?
It's
no secret. All the line companies warn about it. I always ignored it too
until it started happenin to me and found out what was causing it. I
figured
it wasn't rocket science. I left this newsgroup once because it seemed

if
you weren't in the "click" everything one would say is assaulted. Damn I
guess things aint changed around here!

LOL. I think you read that the worng way. If I left my rods out in the

sun
wouldn't I have the same problem with all my line? You had good luck with
whatever size of Vanish you use. That's fine, but lots of folks here
including me have had crap luck with Vanish. We said so. Do we not have
the right to state our opinion if it contradicts yours?

Perhaps if you answered all queries first we would be forwarned so as not

to
say anything that disagrees with your opinion or view point.

In the click. That is just too funny. I am so far out of the click that

I
have to take a running start to catch up and try what they say about me.
LOL.

Just posting what I have experienced. The stuff works for me. Just

for
kicks, do any of you store your rods and reels anywhere near a window
in
the
house or garage?

If that were the case don't you think we would have problems with all

our
line?
