2 feet of snow for Buffalo? Did you see any of that? I was in your area
about 3 weeks ago en route to Cleveland. Spent a couple of hours at the
Falls with my wife and daughter. I remember you telling me you fish the
Niagara River. That's some river, so color me impressed.

Closed up the Cape House last weekend and fished Chatham Roads at the
bottom of Morris Island. A wondrous, cloudless day and the low sun cast
an orange hue over the landscape. I suppose in the treeless area these
are its "fall colors". Lots of Blues on top all day long at the entrance
to Stage, but just out of reach for the shore fisherman. At 5pm I
started hitting fish every cast, best was a 25" Striper. First fish came
in without a tail, sheared clean off. Hmmm, I wonder what did that?
