I hear Ya Rich, Low 30's tomorrow morning and the heavy rain and high winds
are making me think sleeping in might be the better choice "Calif Bill" wrote in message .net... "RichZ" wrote in message ... To paraphrase some singer or other, potential fishing days are dwindling down top a precious few. I can count on my fingers (and maybe a toe or two) the number of days I'll get to spend on the water the remainder of this year. And now it looks like I'll have to cancel all my plans this weekend because of the steenking, lousy, weather. Supposed to get 2+ inches of rain tomorrow, accompanied by 30+mph winds, and Sunday it's supposed to clear up, but get windier. SIGH. This after last weekend's Champlain trip got screwed up by 8 inches of rain on the 2 days before I got there. The southern end of the lake was the exact color of brown kraft paper. Sigh. We caught a 30 or so anyway (it IS Champlain after all) but it was nothing like the same weekend last year. I fished a little while today with no luck in Franks Tract of the Sacramento Delta. Did get a few little stripers. LMB's are slow right now. Maybe too much sun. Water was 61. |
