Default Interstate SRM 27 battery is not cutting it

My first reaction was to diss your Interstate battery. I've had bad luck
with that brand. However, realistically a single battery probably won't
have the capacity you want regardless of the brand. Two batteries in
parrallel would work better. If you want to try and stay with one you could
go with a high quality group 30/31 battery but not knowing what you are
hoping to achieve I would say that would probably only give you another
couple hours of fishing time. Yout thought that you should have two
batteries is probably the best option.

Bob,

I am probably going to get another Interstate SRM 27 and hook it up in
parallel with the one I have.
Then I will devote the charger to the 2 trollers. The cranking battery
gets charged decently from the outboard.

Thanks!

Ted
