Default f report

Went on another trip and caught lots of bass. Couldn't get a resupply
of my favoured softbait. Popped into walmart and lucky the private
contractor was setting up the fishing section. Told him about the
unavailability of the softbait and he put me on to another. Proved to
be just as good but the fish were a little smaller. I now have two
good soft bait prospects and I've tried them all. These softbaits are
highly recommended. The fish concentrate on the softbait so, they
forget to take off with the line,

On one retrieve of a fish a 20kg snapper latched on to the fish's
tail. Couldn't shake it free and tore the tail to shreds. Pulled it
close to my watercraft and gently tore the softbait from the hook for
reuse. Cut the line to release the fish to the snapper.
